We're excited to bring Ner Chat into Zoom, making AAC meetings more accessible and engaging.
Now you can seamlessly integrate AAC tools directly into your Zoom calls, allowing for smoother communication and real-time collaboration with all participants. Whether it's for classrooms, therapy sessions, or team meetings, Ner Chat ensures everyone has a voice!
How to Install Ner Chat
Refer to the installation guide here for detailed instructions on setting up Ner Chat on Zoom.
How to Open Ner Chat
In your Zoom meeting, click the Apps button at the bottom of the Zoom window.
Select Ner Chat to launch it.
Using a Provider Account
Note:
Log in as a provider to access the ability to control and share AAC boards with other users in the meeting.
How to Share Ner Chat with Others
Click the spaceship icon in Ner Chat to notify all participants.
This will send a notification to all participants in the meeting
Press Allow to send the notification through Zoom.
Starting a Session
Choose a communicator from the list by clicking on their name.
The selected communicator's AAC board will appear.
💡 This AAC board will automatically be shared with all other communicators in the meeting.
Two-Way Mirror Interaction:
When the provider or communicator selects an image, it will be highlighted with a yellow border on all other devices in the meeting.
A second click on the image will execute the action, enabling real-time collaboration and interaction between users.
Adjusting the Layout
Click the button to expand Ner Chat to fullscreen.
Drag the edges to adjust the width as needed for your meeting.
